24 Nigerians Arrested For Entering Ghana Through Unapproved Routes
The immigrants, that included five females, admitted entering the jurisdiction but refused to give reasons for their entry.
Customs Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS), Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority, in the early hours of Tuesday, arrested 24 Nigerians for allegedly entering the country through unapproved routes.
Chief Superintendent, Mr Shradrach Azangweo, South Tongu District Commander of the Ghana Immigration Service, told the Ghana News Agency that the Nigerians would be moved to Aflao to assist in further investigations.
He said the immigrants had their temperatures taken during initial investigations, adding that they would likely be quarantined at Aflao.

Olalekan Jacob Ponle, popularly known as Woodberry, was nabbed through details accessed from his WhatsApp, iPhone and Bitcoin transactions, court documents obtained by PREMIUM TIMES reveal.
Mr Ponle, alongside Ramoni Igbalode, also known as Hushpuppi, was arrested in the United Arab Emirate on June 10 for multiple fraud charges after a raid by operatives of the Dubai crime unit.
The duo were then extradited to the United States on July 2.

An attempt by the Department of State Services (DSS) to secure a stay of execution of the award of N10 million damages against it has been refused by the Federal High Court, Asaba.
The DSS had approached the court to stay execution of the judgment debt it was ordered to pay Anthony Okolie, who was detained by by the agency for using an MTN SIM once used by President Muhammadu Buhari’s daughter, Hanan.

- I am a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), and have been so employed since approximately March 2015. I am currently assigned to the Los Angeles Field Office, High-Tech Organized Crime Squad, where I primarily investigate cyber-enabled fraud and business email compromise (“BEC”) schemes. Between approximately August 2015 and December 2018, I was assigned to a cyber-crime squad in the Chicago Field Office, where I investigated cyber-related crimes, including BEC cases.
